A Gym Membership for Your Soul

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”—1 Timothy 4:8

Just like a workout in the gym, a Soul Workout challenges you and makes you stronger.

A Soul Workout looks similar to a gym workout:

  • Warm-Up: A passage of scripture to interact with.
  • Round 1: A prayer to get you going in the right direction.
  • Round 2: A way to interact with the Round 1 scripture.
  • Round 3: Some heart-work to drive home an idea.
  • Burn-Out: A closing challenge or prayer to launch us into our day.

Soul Workouts are all about a daily commitment to get stronger. If you miss one day, don't miss two.

Joe Dascenzo

Hi, I’m Joe. Let's do this.

After working in the field of design and branding for 20 years, I gave up my branding business to pursue speaking and developing people's faith full-time. It seemed like dynamic faith was out of reach for the average believer. So now I use my creative background to fuel innovative ways that inspire people to open their Bible, open their hearts, discover new ways to apply God's truth to their lives, and put their faith to action. What I really love is building momentum with people to make a difference in the world through the Good News of Jesus. I hope you join me in Soul Workouts to bring heaven to earth in your part of the world!

Get Consistent

Getting stronger in your faith is all about the reps. Just like strength training happens through repetitions, your faith builds as you repeatedly get before God and dig into your time with Him. Soul Workouts are daily connections with God that build over time.

Get Focused

When it comes to your daily time with God, where do you start? the Bible is a big library of 66 books. It's the same as walking into a gym and being confronted with all kinds of equipment you have no idea how to use. Soul Workouts take out the guesswork by presenting a clear path for you every day.

Get Intentional

It's easy to fall back on what comes easy in your faith. Physical training requires intentionally in areas of weakness to build strength. You can't do the same thing every day and you can't skip leg day. Soul Workouts challenge you to get intentional in every area of your life—and watch your faith come alive.

Take the Challenge. Get Serious.

Get Serious About Spiritual Disciplines

When is the last time you fasted? Spent time in silence? Spiritual disciplines are time-tested tools that help you interact with your faith and God. Soul Workouts systematically use the spiritual disciplines to keep you on your toes and strengthen your faith.

Get Serious About Connecting With God.

How do you connect best with God? The spiritual temperaments are typical ways that people interact best with God. Soul Workouts give you an opportunity to try them all.

Get Serious About Putting Your Faith into Action.

Does your faith touch every area of your life? Your job. Your health. Your relationships. Your finances. Soul Workouts challenge you to apply your faith in all of these and many more.
